Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist and philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law is internationally recognized in her professional career and for her achievements within the field of International human rights laws. Her most prominent clients are various nations, including Armenia who are trying to convince to get the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and later was married with American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous in the world of pop-culture. Prior to this, she was already famous and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients with skill and success. Her work spans the spectrum of social justice, human rights to representing multinational corporations during the negotiation process or litigating cases involving the regulations of government. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is located in London and she was a barrister.
