Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business from a young age. By the time she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated features featuring female stars. Alexandra's professional career has included participate in several important national and international projects. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
